How Should We Go About Custom Tribe Markings?

I like the idea that every tribe has the option to make their own tribal marking, it'd be a perk they got for getting a Tribe. You need premium to make one- so it'd be an additional perk along with that ability to make one. However I do think, there should be requirements if someone does want to make tribal markings. A month would sound good, with active members, because it'd be sad for those groups who last a week- to have those markings only to rot away. If it has lasted a month, but the members aren't active, what would be the point of them if no one is on to actually use them? They should show their dedication to this group, to have these tribal markings be usable.

Maybe a month and at least ten active members?

Though since not all groups are based around the Tribe Lore, I think people should have the freedom to create a marking outside of the lore- but not outside the environment. I'd be against something like robotic markings, however some groups like to 'mark' their members, such as adding a S for Star on their character, I think some would use those tribal markings to create scars like those without having the need to make a preset! It'd help a lot of people who want a group like that.

I say 20 members. We where talking about this earlier with banners right. We should totaly do this it would be really similar to a preset the markings i mean. Just one per tribe i guess they could do one per species or just maybe we could wait and do like tribe tabbards.so they fit all species.

Well, I don't really see this being a big issue, a tribe founder can give as many people as they want perms to change things like markings. If you end up with a founder that doesn't care about the opinions of their members, just leave- you don't have any obligation to be in a tribe with someone who doesn't care about your well being.

You can always just be creative and use the character creator markings as tribe markings too. Again if we're putting a time limit on how long and how many members a tribe needs to be able to use markings, this time is sink or swim time in terms of how much the other members enjoy the tribe. I think tribe leaders who have no intention of caring about the ideas of their members aren't going to have a tribe for a long time.

I agree w all of yall for the most part,I also feel like every tribe can get one free custom marking (with all of the requirements of coarse) and then every extra marking should cost arrows. like perhaps 25k or maybe even 50k. I feel like we should get more than one because perhaps a tribe would want different custom markings per rank, but there should be a max amount you can make, like 10 or somethin. Also with other characters, i dont know how you guys would want to approach it but i feel like its fine if they want to make custom markings of say a video game, like the signature design on wolf link from twilight princess-





because some people may just want a role play or fan club kinda tribe. I also dont know if youll be willing to do this but perhaps there can also in the future have a clothing item with the tribes marking, like you can make a model of a default item, or an assortment of items (like a mask, neck bandana, clasp around leg, ect.) and everyone who wants their tribes insignia on the item has to make it them selves, and you can just release the skin and model on the custimizer. Other than all of that, i do feel like a month of activity is a good amount of time to have to be active to get a custom marking, but i dont really agree on the member count. I only feel this way because i know some people just want to be in  a tribe with a group of friends, and that may include just 5 or 6, and they wouldnt be able to get a custom marking. either that or they would just include some members in just to get the marking and then kick them or ignore them, which i dont want happening. perhaps it could be that as long as the majority is active, plus the tribe leader, then they would be able to get the custom marking? like 70%-80% of the tribe would have to be active, so its fair for smaller tribes rather than big tribe=better than small tribes mentality that ive seen too much in games.
